Made Worthy through Christ to be in Manaus

Romans 8:28 And we know that All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. This trip to Manaus did not happen without a few enemy attacks. In fact, it began with 2 people not receiving their E-visa until the very day we were to leave. One person was standing in our prayer circle and passed out just before getting into to the van. But God! He had plans for us. The documents were all in hand before we left for the airport and the person who passed out was prayed over and cared for and able to continue on our journey. No one can successfully mess with God’s plan. The enemy continued to try and delay our trip… But God! Turned it into opportunity to share with more people. Our delay kept us in Panama over night. One of our own Northlander, Vic was contacted and met up with us. He became our interpreter and we got to go to the Panama Canal. On our way there, I was blessed to be a part of God’s mission to uplift our uber driver who only recently received Christ as her savior. It was an emotional time of sharing Jesus with her. We prayed for her and she blessed us.
Satan is persistent. When I arrived and met everyone i suddenly felt like I did not belong- like I was not worthy. After sharing with one of my friends what I was feeling- it was like confessing my pain- God gave me strength and reminded me that I did belong. I felt better and encouraged to just share what Jesus has and is doing in my life. When a young man gave his testimony- he shared that he was from an indigenous tribe. He is working and studying to get the Bible translated into his tribe’s language. That was my Wow moment. Reminding me that Jesus is not going to return until everyone (Matthew 24). We still have a lot of people to reach. We need more workers. I have a renewed commitment to be a part of God’s mission. Thank you all who prayed, donated and encouraged us on this journey.
