5/20/2026-Due to the Ebola outbreak in East Africa, the team will not be going in June 2026.  Please be praying for our partners in Uganda and for our hope to reschedule.

Located in East Africa, Uganda is an independent country with a booming economy, mild weather, and breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.  There is no doubt as to why it is called the “Pearl of Africa.”  The country is home to 83% Christians with 5 unreached people groups.  Uganda has widespread prayer movements and a strong evangelical presence in the Church of Uganda (Anglican).  Public prayer is common, even in government and judicial buildings, and many people attend church.

We partner with Miracle Centre Kawempe Church and Miracle Destiny Schools in Kampala City. The local church has Nursery, Primary, and Secondary (High) schools. Pastor Robert and Rose Nabulere are the co-founders of the ministries, and they serve with disciples, leaders, and workers on their teams. The church and the schools are avenues for evangelism and discipleship in their city and beyond.

Northland Church has partnered with Pastor Robert since 2012 in training over 500 pastors and leaders in the 4 regions of Uganda. They are now planting churches, and mobilizing disciples who are extending the Kingdom.  Northland teams have participated in construction projects, Vacation Bible Schools, community development, outreach, and a library project last year!

Our mission on this trip: We will continue what we started last year in the schools.  We will work to enhance the connectivity of the computers used at the primary school and create more electronic forms that the teacher use for grading and administration will use for tracking.  We will be bringing more resources for the primary and the high schools libraries.  We will come alongside and ensure the library system put in place last year is working for their needs.  We also will connect in worship gatherings and engage in outreach through the church to the neighborhoods and community.
