When I went on this mission trip I did not know what to expect. After we got there I learned that eventhough Spain has a lot of beautiful Churches, it is a spritual dessert. Most people there look at religion as something to do because of tradition. There are a lot of people that identify themselves as Catholic but they have no belief in God. Church is only there for tradition.
The Parnell family are there to help and I was blessed to spend a week with them and see there operation in action. They are building relationships with people and then when people ask then they can witness to them that God is real and we can have a relationship with him.
We were there to help with their Vaction Bible School. It was good to see the children having fun and learning about God. We had a good turn out at the VBS. We also had a special celebration at a park with an egg hunt, and the people and children of the City had a great time.
I cant wait to go again.
